Obama in New York

President Barack Obama made history yet again today for being the first sitting President to be on a daytime talk show. Although, most of the questions were easy going some of the discussion actually involved some serious topics such as, the war in Afghanistan and the unemployment rate, were the President defended his job bill despite the current 9.5% unemployment rate. The interview also tested his pop culture knowledge, the President said he knew Lindsay Lohan was in jail but claimed he didn't know who Snooki was. I have to say for a President Barrack is certainly in touch with pop culture, he even has Jay-Z and Bob Dylan on his iPod.

While in New York the President made good use of his time by also attending a Democratic fund raiser party at Vouge Editor Anna Wintour's home. The President also visited our neighbor state New Jersey to speak to the press alongside small business owners following a meeting at the Tastee Sub Shop in Edison, NJ.
